12.8. Replacement of the back shock-absorber

The top fastening of the back shock-absorber

The prevention

Removal of shock-absorbers is necessary for making by turns. Replacement of shock-absorbers make in pairs on one axis of the car.

SEDAN AND HATCHBACK

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Working in a luggage space, uncover, closing the top fastening of the shock-absorber. 2. Unscrew a nut of the top fastening of the shock-absorber, thus keep a rod of the shock-absorber from проворачивания the second wrench. Remove a washer and a rubber element of the top fastening of the shock-absorber. 3. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. 4. At presence, working under a back part of the car, disconnect from the shock-absorber an air pipe of system of a self-levelled back suspension bracket. 5. A jack support the corresponding lever of a back suspension bracket. Unscrew a bolt (it is specified by an arrow), крепящий the bottom part of the shock-absorber to the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket. 6. Manually compress the shock-absorber and take it from the longitudinal lever of a back suspension bracket. 7. Take the shock-absorber from under the car and remove a rubber element of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber and a cup from the top part of the shock-absorber. 8. Using киянку, establish the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber in an arm. 9. Screw in a bolt of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber and tighten its demanded moment. 10. Partially lower the car, thus establish the top fastening of the shock-absorber into place. 11. Lower the car on the earth, then establish a rubber pillow and a washer of the top fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber. 13. Tighten a nut of fastening of a rod of the shock-absorber so that the shock-absorber rod acted, as is shown in fig. the Top fastening of the back shock-absorber. 14. Establish a cover. 15. Similarly replace the second back shock-absorber. 16. On models with a self-levelled back suspension bracket increase in system pressure to 0,8 bar.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. 2. At presence, working under a back part of the car, disconnect from the shock-absorber an air pipe of system of a self-levelled back suspension bracket. 3. A jack support the corresponding lever of a back suspension bracket. Unscrew a nut and remove a washer and a rubber pillow of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber. Lower a jack. 4. Unscrew a bolt (it is specified by an arrow) the top fastening of the shock-absorber and remove the shock-absorber. 5. At installation fix the top part of the shock-absorber a bolt, having tightened it at this stage by hand. 6. Fix the bottom part of the shock-absorber. Thus check up correctness of an arrangement of a rubber pillow and a washer and tighten a nut of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber the demanded moment. 7. Tighten a bolt of the top fastening of the shock-absorber the demanded moment. 8. Similarly replace the second back shock-absorber. 9. On models with a self-levelled back suspension bracket increase pressure in system to 0,8 bar.
