Removal and installation of the case of the mechanism of a choice of transfers
THE GENERAL DATA

The gear change lever is located in the case of the mechanism of a choice of transfers. Before replacement of cables of a drive of switching it is necessary to remove the case specified above.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Engines of 1.8 l: Remove cables of a drive of a choice of transfer a support at РКПП, thus address to subsection Removal, installation and coupling check.
2. Remove upward a cover of the lever of switching (an arrow on an illustration) and remove it through the handle.
3. Loosen the a collar (the marksman on an illustration) also remove the handle together with a cover.
4. Take out at cut of the lever of switching гаситель noise.
5. Separate release system between a reception pipe and the central muffler. Turn away bolts and lower a cross-beam for fastening of the muffler at the bottom, thus address to subsection Removal and installation of system of release.
6. Turn away bolts of fastening and disconnect the heat-shielding screen under the gear change lever.
7. Turn away a nut (are specified by arrows) fastenings about the switching lever.
8. Turn on from the bottom party of the car 2 bolts of fastening at the case of the mechanism of a choice of transfers.
9. Lower the case and take out completely with draughts back.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal. It is in addition necessary to mean the following.
2. If consolidation between the case and the car bottom is damaged, replace it.
3. Fix the case on the bottom the moment 25 Н m.
4. Establish system of release and expose it, thus address to subsection Removal and installation of system of release.
5. In summary adjust a switching drive, thus address to subsection Dismantling of a shaft of a drive.
