8.15. Adjustment of a pedal of a brake

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up distance of a pedal from a floor. 2. In need of adjustment disconnect a socket, turn away a counternut and remove the switch of a signal of braking. 3. Release a counternut of a pusher of the amplifier of brakes. 4. Rotating a pusher, adjust pedal height. Tighten a counternut. 5. Establish the switch of a signal of braking and adjust. For this purpose turn away the top nut so that плунжер the switch has adjoined to the pedal terminator. Wrap the top nut on 1 turn and check up necessity A.Pri's backlash establish a standard backlash and tighten a counternut. Attach a socket. 6. Check up fire of lamps of a signal of braking. 7. Check up a pedal free wheeling (1 – a pusher, 2 – a pedal free wheeling), i.e. distance from position of completely released pedal to a place in which resistance to its course starts to be felt. If the course does not correspond to norm repeat switch adjustment. 8. Check up height () the pressed pedal on the working engine. 9. If the height of the pressed pedal does not correspond to norm brakes are faulty (is available the leak).
