On cars the system of an automatic unblocking of brakes (ABS - system), intended for increase of stability of the car in the conditions of sharp braking is established. Pressure in a contour of brakes is regulated depending on speed of rotation of the wheels, registered by gauges.

The management block

It is mounted with on the right mudguard. On the block signals from the switch of a signal of braking and gauges of speed of each wheel on which basis pressure in a hydrodrive of the given wheel is regulated arrive. If speed of rotation of a wheel differs from base the management block opens the electromagnetic valve актюатора and the liquid under superfluous pressure flows down in the tank. A wheel partially растормаживается. After alignment of speed of rotation the valve is closed also pressure again accrues. Numerous repetition of such cycles stabilises speed of rotation of all wheels and raises stability of the car. The management block also possesses self-diagnostics function.

Актюатор

Consists of system of the solenoidal valves working from signals of the block of management.

Gauges of speed of rotation of back wheels

Gauges of induction type, are mounted on each of wheels. Sinusoidal signals from the gauge arrive on the management block.

The switch of a signal of braking

Provides inclusion of back lanterns and sets ready the management block at braking.

Diagnostics and repair

After engine start-up the control lamp of system ABS burns during 3 сек, then dies away. Check up a manual brake, a hydrodrive of brakes, sockets of gauges and актюатора, system conducting. If the manual brake is released, the hydrodrive is serviceable, in a normal state system ABS is faulty also the car it is necessary to hand over all contacts and system sockets in car-care centre.
