3.1.3.1.12. Adjustment of a manual brake MODELS WITH BACK DRUM-TYPE BRAKES
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The optimum backlash between brake колодками and a brake drum is supported by the mechanism of automatic adjustment, however at long operation of the car the cable of a manual brake is stretched, therefore the course of the lever of a manual brake increases.
2. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports.
3. Completely release a manual brake.
4. Tighten a nut on a connector of cables of a manual brake (it is specified by an arrow) to full затормаживания back wheels, then slightly unscrew a nut to растормаживания back wheels.
5. Check up that the manual brake begins затормаживать back wheels on the second click of the lever of a manual brake and completely затормаживает wheels on the fourth or fifth click.
6. For the further check remove a stopper (it is specified by an arrow) from the back party of a brake board. At correct adjustment the distance between a pin on a control lever of a manual brake and a crosspiece brake Pads should make 3 mm at the released lever of a manual brake.
7. After carrying out of adjustment for protection against corrosion grease a carving on the end of a cable of a manual brake. Lower the car.

MODELS WITH BACK DISK BRAKES

Before check of adjustment of a manual brake it is necessary to pass about 300 m on low speed with slightly tightened manual brake that will remove a rust or luster with brake колодок and a brake drum.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. Remove back wheels.
2. Completely release a manual brake, then tighten the lever of a manual brake on two clicks.
3. Loosen the a regulator nut on a head of a cable of the manual brake, located to the left of the muffler. In the presence of a thermofilter for access improvement remove it.
4. Turn a brake disk so that the aperture in a brake disk was established from below and on the contrary adjusting lath. Then tighten the lever of a manual brake on two clicks.
5. A screw-driver through an adjusting aperture of a brake disk / of a nave turn a wheel of an adjusting lath so that brake Pads have started to brake a brake disk.
6. Turn a wheel of an adjusting lath in the opposite direction that brake Pads have departed on insignificant distance from a brake disk / of a nave.
7. Make similar adjustment on the second back wheel.
8. Rotating, move a nut on a regulator or the jack of a cable of a manual brake to position at which the manual brake will brake wheels. Check up that a manual brake затормаживает simultaneously two back wheels.
9. Completely lower the lever of a manual brake, then repeatedly tighten it.
10. Затормаживание back wheels of the car should occur at a raising of the lever of a manual brake on the sixth tooth of a ratchet. If necessary, rotating a nut on a regulator or the jack of a cable of a manual brake, establish a nut in such position that затормаживание back wheels occurred at a tightening of the lever of a manual brake on the sixth tooth of a ratchet.
11. At presence establish an exhaust system thermofilter.
12. Establish wheels and lower the car on the earth. Tighten bolts of fastening of a wheel the demanded moment.
