6.2.5. System of injection of fuel

THE GENERAL DATA

The system of injection of fuel Multec consists of system of giving of fuel, system of measurement of a stream of air and system of electric engine management. The system of injection of fuel with one atomizer established in the case of a throttle, as a matter of fact, replaces the carburettor. Such systems name injection in the throttle case (TBI) either the central injection (CFI) or one-dot injection.

The system of giving of fuel consists of a fuel tank with the electric fuel pump shipped in it, the fuel filter, a fuel atomizer, a regulator of pressure of the fuel established in the case of a throttle, and also hoses and the tubes connecting elements of system. The pump submits fuel through the fuel filter to a fuel atomizer. The size of pressure of fuel in a fuel highway is defined by a regulator which at pressure increase returns surpluses of fuel in a fuel tank.

The system of measurement of a stream of air has the block of adjustment of temperature of air arriving in the engine and the elements which are in the case. In the throttle case the fuel atomizer which injects fuel into a back part throttle заслонки and a potentiometer of position throttle заслонки is established. The potentiometer throttle заслонки is rigidly connected with an axis заслонки and hands over to block ECU the information concerning position throttle заслонки at the moment time. The step-by-step engine operated block ECU, operates quantity of air submitted to the engine and is intended for support of turns of idling at demanded level.

The electric control system of the engine consists of block ECU together with following gauges:

 – The potentiometer throttle заслонки informs block ECU position of opening or closing throttle заслонки;
 – The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid informs block ECU engine temperature;
 – The oxygen gauge informs block ECU the oxygen maintenance in exhaust gases;
 – The gauge of a detonation established in the block of cylinders, is used for detection of the beginning of a detonation or early ignition;
 – The gauge of position of a cranked shaft informs block ECU turns of the engine and position of a cranked shaft;
 – The gauge of absolute pressure in a collector informs block ECU depression in an inlet collector.

All information from gauges is analyzed by block ECU, and on this basis the corresponding corner of an advancing of ignition and structure of a fuel mix is defined. The block operates a fuel atomizer, changing width of an impulse, that is an interval of time, when the atomizer is opened to provide richer or poorer fuel mix.
