Chains of an electric equipment of the car are protected by safety locks, breakers or fusible crosspieces.
The assembly block of safety locks is mounted in salon under a forward partition on the left side (fig. the Block of safety locks in salon see). In a motor compartment the block of safety locks is mounted in the left corner (fig. the Block of safety locks in a motor compartment see).
For access to a safety lock uncover the assembly block. On a cover the chain which protects the given safety lock is specified.
At chain refusal first of all check up a safety lock. Safety locks are established on contacts ножевого type and get by hand.
The fused safety lock is easily found out on appearance (fig. Safety locks see).
It is possible to check up also pressure on conclusions. The safety lock has fused if the voltmeter shows pressure. To replace a safety lock get faulty and insert new, having pushed it into a nest.
The rated current of a new safety lock should correspond in accuracy to a current of the replaced. The rated current is specified on a safety lock. It is forbidden to use wire pieces instead of a safety lock.
If the new safety lock immediately fuses, find the reason and eliminate. As a rule blowing it is caused by short circuit of wires because of their retyranny.
