Check of serviceability of functioning, removal and installation of atomizers of injection of fuel

At service of atomizers it is necessary to observe extra care. At all do not substitute hands or other open sites of a body under final nozzles of atomizers - the stream of fuel submitted under a high pressure can damage a skin. Composers of the present Management urgently recommend to entrust in general performance of any procedures connected with check being under the pressure of atomizers to experts of a car repair shop. Try not to admit hit in ТНВД, atomizers or their tubes of a dirt. Do not drop an atomizer and try not to damage their needle snuffled. At manufacturing of atomizers special requirements are shown to observance of admissions which should not be broken as a result of the inaccurate reference at all. In particular, at all it is not necessary to clamp atomizers in a vice!

Check

Atomizers of injection of fuel tend to gradual destruction of internal components in the course of their operation and should be exposed to regenerative service or replacement approximately through each 100 000 km (60 000 miles) vehicle run. It is necessary to charge performance of diagnostics of a condition, major repairs and calibration of atomizers to experts of car-care centre. Revealing of the defective atomizer supposing a detonation or smoke blanketing, can be made without removal from the engine (see further).

Start the engine and leave its working with turns of fast idling. Serially weaken штуцерные connections of each of atomizers, preliminary having wrapped up their rags. At easing штуцерного knot of a defective atomizer the detonation will stop.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. On the models equipped турбокомпрессором, for the purpose of providing of access remove a casing воздухораспределителя. In case of need remove also an inlet air line and disconnect a ventilating hose from a jellied mouth of impellent oil. Corresponding sections of the present Chapter more in detail see.

2. Carefully wipe atomizers and штуцерные connection knots to them of fuel tubes. Details of installation of an atomizer in a head of cylinders are presented on an accompanying illustration.

3. Disconnect from atomizers returnable fuel tubes.

4. Loosen the накидные fastening nuts штуцерных knots of connection of tubes to ТНВД. In the course of easing of nuts keep a reciprocal part of connection from проворачивания by means of the second key. At once закупорьте the open ends of tubes in order to avoid hit in dirt system (take advantage of the fingers cut off from an old rubber glove).

5. Turn on накидные nuts and disconnect tubes from atomizers. In case of need форсуночные tubes can be completely removed. Try to remember an exact arrangement of clamps. Закупорьте the open ends of atomizers.

6. By means of a deep face head or a tubular key on 27 mm turn out atomizers from a head of cylinders.

7. Remove from a head copper sealing washers and washers пламегасителей.



8. Take freely planted thermoprotective муфты.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Prepare the complete set of new sealing washers, washers пламегасителей and thermoprotective муфт (if the last are damaged).
2. Try not to drop an atomizer and not to suppose damage of their working needle valves (the prevention in the section beginning see).
3. Assemblage begin with installation in a head of cylinders thermoprotective муфт, washers пламегасителей and copper sealing washers. Track correctness of placing of all components in a head of cylinders.
4. Accurately establish assemblages of atomizers and tighten them with demanded effort.
5. Connect to atomizers fuel tubes and tighten them штуцерные connections. Track correctness of placing of clamps in order to avoid damage of tubes in the course of functioning of the engine as a result of development of fatigue deformation.
6. Connect returnable tubes.
7. Depending on a complete set, establish into place a casing воздухораспределителя or the built in cooler турбокомпрессора (Intercoоler).
8. Start the engine, in case of need make removal of air stoppers from a power supply system path (Filling of the power supply system with fuel and removal from it air stoppers see).
