1. If check is made at established on engine TNVD, instead of in the course of installation of the last, disconnect a negative wire from the battery and cover with polyethylene the generator. Remove форсуночные tubes (Removal and installation ТНВД, subsection "Removal", item 12 see).
2. Achieve combination of adjusting drillings of blocking of a cranked shaft (Fixing cranked/distributive shaft and ТНВД for the purpose of prevention of casual hit of valves in contact to pistons in the course of performance of procedures of service of the car see). Remove blocking tool and turn a shaft back (counter-clockwise) approximately on a turn quarter. |

3. Turn out a stopper of access from directing from above on the pump case, remove a sealing washer. Enter a special probe in directing, having tracked correctness of its landing on a sealing surface.

For reception of authentic results of measurement the probe should nestle on a sealing surface directing, instead of to its top sponges. |

4. Fix on directing the pump an assembly arm of a special measuring instrument (Citroёn № 4093-TJ), establish on an arm циферблатный a measuring instrument so that it the end adjoined to draught of an arm. Adjust measuring instrument position so that it плунжер it has appeared in an average part of the course and null the device.

5. Slowly turn a cranked shaft in a direction of normal rotation (clockwise) until again there will be no possibility of introduction of the blocking tool. |

6. Having blocked a cranked shaft, consider the measuring instrument indication: it should correspond to the value specified in marks of the pump (with a maximum deviation ± 0.04 mm). Marks are put on the plastic disk fixed in forward part ТНВД, or on шильде, planted on the operating lever. |

7. Additional marks are put on pasted on a surface of case TNVD a label (1) and шильду (2), fixed on the operating lever (the gas lever) (system Lucas pump). |

8. On each of pump rotors there is a rounded pin () which position is accurately exposed on manufacturer. The moment of the beginning of injection is defined in the size “Х” at the piston of the fourth cylinder being in position ВМТ. This size also is engraved on the labels mentioned above and шильдах.

9. If the result of measurement testifies to necessity of carrying out of adjustment, ослабьте forward nuts and a back bolt of fastening of the pump and start to turn slowly case TNVD until the measuring instrument will not fix demanded value. Having achieved satisfactory result, tighten fixture the pump with demanded effort. For the purpose of providing of access to nuts of fastening of the pump it is necessary to turn out two screws and to remove a panel cover from a radiator wall.
10. Slowly raise a measuring probe so that it left gearing with the directing plug of a rotor of the pump, then take blocking cranked shaft a core. Turn a cranked shaft one turn with three quarters in a direction of normal rotation.
11. Again lower against the stop a measuring probe, having tracked correctness of its landing on directing the pump (item 3 see). Null a measuring instrument.
12. Slowly turn a shaft in a normal direction until there will be a possibility of introduction of the blocking tool. Check up correctness of adjustment ТНВД.
13. If necessity for updating still takes place, repeat the procedures described in subitem 9-12.
14. Having achieved satisfactory result, remove a measuring instrument with an arm and take a probe.
15. Screw in directing the screw with a sealing washer and strongly tighten it.
16. If check was made during pump installation, operate, as Removal and installation ТНВД is described in section.
17. If the pump is established on the engine, return to the place of a tube of atomizers and tighten накидные their nuts штуцерных connections with demanded effort. Connect a negative wire to the battery and remove air from the power supply system (Filling of the power supply system with fuel and removal from it air stoppers see). Start the engine and make adjustment of turns of idling and turns of prevention spontaneous останова (address to the Head Routine maintenance). |
