4.3.12. Removal and installation of the valve of the thermostat of an oil radiator
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The valve of the thermostat of an oil radiator is established in an adapter of an oil radiator over the oil filter.
2. Establish the corresponding container under a casing of the oil filter and remove a lock ring from an end face of the valve of the thermostat.
3. Remove a stopper, a spring and a thermostatic element.
4. Check up a condition of elements of the valve and, if necessary, replace them.
5. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal. Check up level of engine oil and, if necessary, finish it to norm.
