4.2. Engines OHC
THE GENERAL DATA

The engine with four cylinders, established cross-section in a forward part of the car. Coupling and a transmission are located on the left side of the engine.

The cranked shaft leans against five radical bearings. Persistent half rings are established on the third radical bearing.

Pistons fasten to rods piston fingers with a backlash in a rod. Pistons from an aluminium alloy have three piston rings – two компрессионных and one маслосъемное.

The camshaft located in the top part of a head of the block of cylinders, puts in action a gear belt of a drive and operates valves through коромысла. Коромысла in a turn point are supported by hydraulic pushers which automatically regulate a backlash between a camshaft, коромыслом and a valve core. Each valve is closed by one spring.

Engine greasing is carried out шестеренчатым by the oil pump which is located in a cover attached to a forward part of the block of cylinders. The drive of the oil pump is carried out from a cranked shaft while the fuel pump (on models with the carburettor) and the ignition distributor are put in action from a camshaft.
