Subaru Legacy/Outback

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Release wheel nuts.
3. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props. Remove back wheels.
4. Расчеканьте ступичную a nut, also give its face key at the squeezed out pedal of a foot brake.

In order to avoid damage of bearings after wheel removal ступичную the nut should be weakened and again to tighten!

5. Remove assemblage of back differential (see Has undressed Removal, service, installation and adjustment of back differential of T-type or Removal, service, installation and adjustment of back differential of VA-type).

6. Liberate a back power shaft from a wheel nave, - in case of need take advantage of stripper ST1 926470000 and оправкой ST2 927140000, - try not to damage sealing sponges of an epiploon and a rotor of the wheel gauge.

7. With the help оправки ST1 922431000 and nozzles ST2 927390000 fill an external SHRUS of a power shaft in шлицевое nave connection, - try not to damage a rotor of wheel gauge ABS.  At installation do not knock on a power shaft a hammer!

8. The further installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.

1. Release bandage tapes, remove a protective cover from a holder of an internal SHRUS and shift it to the shaft middle.
2. Having hooked a screw-driver, remove a spring lock ring of fastening of an external holder of an internal SHRUS.
3. Remove an external holder of an internal SHRUS from power shaft assemblage.
4. Remove greasing and take 6 balls.
5. For removal of a separator from an internal holder develop its half-turn to a path of an internal holder.
6. By means of flat-nose pliers remove a spring lock ring of fastening of an internal holder on a shaft.
7. Remove an internal holder of an internal SHRUS.
8. Remove from a shaft a separator and a protective cover of an internal SHRUS, preliminary having wound with an adhesive tape шлицы pins.
9. Release bandage tapes and remove a protective cover of an external SHRUS, - the external hinge is not subject to dismantling and in case of failure is replaced complete with shaft.

1. Establish a protective cover of an external SHRUS and fill in it 60 ч 70 г greasings Molylex No. 2.
2. Put on a shaft a protective cover of an internal SHRUS, having shifted more close to the assemblage middle.

3. Plant on a shaft a separator of an internal SHRUS. A — the Separator B — Sample

4. Establish on a shaft an internal holder of an internal SHRUS and fix its lock ring.
6. Fill in an external holder of an internal SHRUS 80 ч 90 г greasings VU-3A702.
7. Fill to relish in separator windows.
8. Fill in подшипниковую assemblage six balls.
9. Level an external holder concerning balls and plant it on bearing assemblage.
10. Plant a spring lock ring in a reception flute on an external holder of an internal SHRUS.
11. Grease with an equal layer of greasing an internal surface of a protective cover (20 ч 30).
12. Establish a protective cover of an internal SHRUS, - track, that the cover has not appeared is overwound.

Inside большего the end of a protective cover of an external SHRUS and a landing flute on the hinge case should be free from greasing and other substances! At installation the hinge should be in neutral position.

13. Fix protective covers new bandage tapes.
