At check of serviceability of functioning of components SRS by results of reading of diagnostic codes (DTC) special diagnostic plaits (And, F, G, Н, To and I or I2) can be necessary, and also the feigning resistor SRS, which resistance is similar to resistance of the module of a pillow of safety.

System of self-diagnostics SRS

Check of serviceability of functioning of control lamp SRS/AIR BAG

Cause of failures of functioning of control lamp SRS breakage or short circuit in a chain of its electroconducting can be.

Control lamp ABS is not activated at ignition inclusion

Try to include ignition, without making engine start, - if other, a part combinations of devices, control lamps work regularly, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise it is necessary to make the necessary regenerative device of an instrument guard.

Take a safety lock 5 in the main assembly block of safety locks and check up its condition. Replace fused safety lock. If the safety lock is serviceable, pass to a following stage of check.

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see), then disunite contact pair АВ1/В31. Connect a negative wire to the battery and include ignition if the control lamp lights up, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace a lamp, or the printed-circuit board of a combination of devices (see Has undressed Removal, service and installation of a combination of devices, check of a condition of components).

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see), then connect sockets АВ1 and В31 and disunite socket АВ6 of the module of management SRS. Connect a negative wire to the battery and include ignition, - if the control lamp lights up, replace the management module, otherwise replace the main plait of electroconducting SRS.

Control lamp ABS is not disconnected after realisation of start of the engine

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see), then remove an overlay of a threshold of a driver's door (the Body see the Head) and check up reliability of contact connection of sockets АВ1/В31. In case of need make necessary regenerative repair, or replace the main plait of electroconducting SRS. If sockets are perfectly in order, pass to a following stage of check.

Not including ignition, connect a socket 1А a diagnostic plait of Ak to socket В31 кузовной electroconductings. Connect a negative wire to the battery and include ignition. Connect sockets 3А and 4А a diagnostic plait And if control lamp SRS goes out, the following stage of check can be passed.

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see), then connect sockets АВ1 and В31 and disunite contact pair АВ3/АВ8. Take two clamps, lower a ware box and disunite contact pair АВ9/АВ10 (see in the same place). Disconnect socket АВ6 from the module of management SRS and connect a socket 1I a diagnostic plait I or I2. Connect a negative wire to the battery, include ignition and connect among themselves sockets 4I and 5I a diagnostic plait if control lamp SRS goes out, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of the main plait of electroconducting SRS.

 After elimination of the revealed malfunctions do not forget to disunite sockets 4I and 5I.

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see), then connect contact pair АВ1/В31, connect to socket В31 socket А1 of a diagnostic plait And and measure resistance between plugs №№ 17 and 18 sockets 5А a plait And and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 Ohm, restore quality of grounding of a body on weight, otherwise pass to the check final stage.

Restore connection of contact pair АВ1/В31, disconnect socket АВ6 from the module of management SRS and connect a socket 1I a diagnostic plait I or I2. Measure resistance between plugs №№ 9 and 10 sockets 2I a diagnostic plait and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohm, replace the management module, otherwise replace the main plait of electroconducting SRS.

Remove the module of a driver's face-to-face pillow of safety and connect a socket 1F diagnostic plait F to socket АВ7. Connect feigning resistor SRS to a socket 3F plait F. Connect a negative wire to the battery and include ignition, - at serviceable functioning of a control lamp replace the module of a driver's pillow of safety, otherwise pass to a following stage of check.

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS) - the device and a functioning principle see). Disconnect a diagnostic plait from socket АВ7, then remove the bottom section of furnish of the panel of devices, disunite contact pair АВ3/АВ8 and connect a socket 1F plait F to socket АВ8. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make replacement of the main plait of electroconducting SRS.

Measure resistance between plugs №№ 4 sockets 2I and 3F. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the main plait of electroconducting SRS.

Diagnostic code 12

Disconnect SRS (the Section System of additional safety (SRS see) - the device and a functioning principle), take two clamps and remove a ware box (the Body see the Head). Disunite contact pair of the module of a passenger face-to-face pillow of safety АВ9/АВ10 and connect a socket 1F diagnostic plait F to socket АВ9. Connect feigning resistor SRS to a socket 3F plait F, then connect a negative wire to the battery and include ignition, - at serviceable functioning of control lamp SRS replace the module of a passenger pillow of safety, otherwise pass to a following stage of check.

Measure resistance between plugs № 2/5 sockets 2I a plait I and plugs № 4/3 accordingly a socket 3F plait F. If the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make replacement of the main plait of electroconducting SRS.

Measure resistance between weight and plugs № 2 and № 5 sockets 2I, and also between both given plugs and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, replace the module of management SRS, otherwise replace the main plait of electroconducting.

Make sure that ignition is switched off and take from the nest in the connecting block and examine a safety lock № 11. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock in norm, or a replaceable safety lock fuses at once again, find and debug a plait кузовной electroconducting.

Disunite socket АВ16 of electroconducting of right forward gauge SRS, connect to it a socket 1Н diagnostic plait Н and measure between plugs №№ 2 and 4 sockets 3I plait I/I2 and plugs №№ 5 and 6 (accordingly) a socket 3Н N.Esli's plait the result of measurement makes more than 10 Ohm, the following stage of check can be lowered.

Measure resistance between plugs №№ 2 both 4 sockets 3I and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of the check, otherwise following four stages can be lowered.

Remove a combination of devices (see Has undressed Removal, service and installation of a combination of devices, check of a condition of components) and disunite contact pair АВ14/АВ15 and connect a socket 2F diagnostic plait F to socket АВ14. Connect a socket 1F plait F to socket АВ15 and measure resistance between plugs №№ 3 and 4 sockets 3F plait F and plugs № 5 and 6 (accordingly) a socket 3Н N.Esli's plait the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace burn down electroconductings of right forward gauge SRS.

Measure resistance between weight and plugs №№ 3 and 4 sockets 3F plait F and weight of the chassis, - if the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace burn down electroconductings of right forward gauge SRS.

Connect a socket 2Н plait Н to the right forward gauge SRS and measure resistance between the plug № 3 and the plug № 4 sockets 3Н a plait. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 750 ÷ 1000 Ohm, pass to the check final stage, otherwise replace the gauge.

Measure resistance between plugs №№ 3 both 4 sockets 3Н and weight of the chassis, - if the result of measurement makes less than 1 МОм, replace the right forward gauge SRS.

Diagnostic code 32

Measure resistance between plugs №№ 3 both 1 socket 3I and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of the check, otherwise following four stages can be lowered.

Connect a socket 1F plait F to socket АВ12 and measure resistance between plugs №№ 3 and 4 sockets 3F plait F and plugs № 5 and 6 (accordingly) a socket 3Н N.Esli's plait the result of measurement makes less than 10 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace burn down electroconductings of left forward gauge SRS.
