Removal and installation of the power unit - an order of performance of procedure

4-cylinder models

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.
2. Completely open a cowl and fix it by means of an emphasis.
3. Dump pressure in the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
4. Uncover a jellied mouth.
5. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.

6. Remove assemblage of an air cleaner with an inlet sleeve.

7. Remove protection картера.

8. Remove a radiator complete with вентиляторной assemblage.

9. Uncover drive ГРМ (see Has undressed Removal and installation of forward covers of drive ГРМ).
10. Uncover a belt of a V-shaped drive of auxiliary units (Routine maintenance see the Head).
11. On models with К/В bring a connecting hose to system recycling a coolant.
12. Merge a coolant from path К/В.

13. Disconnect from compressor K/V pressure head hoses.

14. Remove a basic arm of fastening of an air cleaner.

15. Disconnect electroconducting from a forward ljambda-probe.

16. Disconnect the plug of grounding of the power unit.

17. Disunite sockets of a plait of electroconducting of the engine.

18. Disconnect electroconducting from the generator and compressor K/V.

And — the Contact socket and the generator plug
B — the Socket of electroconducting of compressor K/V

19. Disconnect cables приводные cables throttle заслонки (gas and темпостат).

And — a gas Cable
B — the Cable темпостата

20. Disconnect electroconducting from the pressure gauge-switch.

21. Disconnect a vacuum hose of the brake amplifier.

22. Disconnect heater hoses.

23. Make removal from a basic arm of the steering pump:

a) Remove резонаторную the chamber;
b) Release fixing and adjusting bolts and remove a forward V-shaped belt;
c) Release fixture of basic arms of hydraulic lines;
d) Turn out bolts of fastening of a basic arm of the steering pump.
e) Having pulled upwards, remove from an arm the tank of liquid ГУР, having pressed on it in a direction to передку the car;
f) without disconnecting from the pump hydraulic lines, take assemblage aside and, having enclosed rags, lay it on a mudguard of the right wing.

24. Remove receptions and central sections of system of release of the fulfilled gases.

25. Give nuts of fastening of the bottom part of transmission to the engine.

26. Turn away a nut of fastening of pillows of forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit to a cross-section beam.

And engine Support

27. On models with АТ lower the car on the earth and turn out service stopper АТ. Turn out fixing bolts and separate муфту the hydrotransformer from drive a disk, - for the purpose of serial providing of access to bolts turn a cranked shaft of the engine for a pulley by means of special key ST of 499977300 (models 2.0)/ST 499977100 (models 2.5).

28. Remove the terminator раскачиваний the power unit.

29. Disconnect hoses of lines of giving and fuel return, and also a hose of tap of fuel evaporations.

 Attention: Before a detachment of a fuel hose wrap up its end rags for the purpose of prevention разбрызгивания fuel. In advance prepare drain capacity!

30. Hang out the engine on лебедке.

31. Prop up transmission тележечным a jack.

 Before branch of the engine from transmission, make sure that all preparatory procedures are finished. Remember that after branch of the engine the jack can give a little under weight трансмиссионной assemblages!

32. Remove a starter (the engine Electric equipment see the Head), then turn out bolts of fastening of the top part of transmission to the engine.

33. On models with АТ establish on a hydrotransformer dome блокиратор drive disk ST 498277200.

34. Start to take slowly the engine at the top, simultaneously raising transmission on a jack. Displace the engine in a horizontal direction (for liberation from it an entrance/primary shaft of transmission) a little, then take it from a motor compartment, - try not to damage acting elements of the engine (a pulley of the cranked shaft, a directing tube measuring probeа, etc.) surrounding кузовные panels and the components established in a motor compartment.
35. Remove rubber pillows of forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish rubber pillows of support of an engine mount and tighten fixture with demanded effort (34 Nanometers).
2. Get the engine in a motor compartment and join it with transmission - try not to damage acting elements of the engine (a pulley of the cranked shaft, a directing tube measuring probeа, etc.) surrounding кузовные panels and the components established in a motor compartment.
3. On models with РКПП slightly grease шлицы a leading shaft of a box.
4. Tighten with demanded effort (50 Nanometers) the top bolts of fastening of transmission to the engine.
5. Disconnect lifting slings and clean a jack propping up transmission.
6. Establish the terminator раскачиваний the engine and tighten boats of its fastening with demanded effort.
7. On models with АТ remove from the hydrotransformer case блокиратор drive a disk (ST 498177200), - try not to drop the adaptation inside картера transmissions.
8. Establish a starter (the engine Electric equipment see the Head).
9. Connect муфту the hydrotransformer to приводному to a disk and tighten fixing bolts of fastening with demanded effort (25 Nanometers), - for проворачивания a cranked shaft take advantage of special key ST of 499977300 (models 2.0)/ST 499977100 (models 2.5). Establish into place a stopper of service aperture АТ.
10. Operating in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components, establish on the regular place the steering pump. The effort of a tightening of bolts of fastening of pump assemblage makes 20.1 Nanometers, резонаторной chambers - 33 Nanometers. Adjust a tension V-shaped drive a belt (Routine maintenance see the Head).
11. Tighten with demanded effort (50 Nanometers) nuts of fastening of the bottom part of transmission to the engine.

12. Tighten nuts of fastening of pillows of forward support of an engine mount to a cross-section beam with effort of 85 Nanometers. Make sure of reliability of durability of fixing of fixing and adjusting bolts of support.

13. The further installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track observance of efforts of a tightening of corresponding fixture, do not forget to replace sealing rings штуцерных knots of lines of refrigerator path К/В. Execute adjustment of cables of a drive throttle заслонки. Make sure of correctness of a lining and reliability of fixing of hoses, then fill in in corresponding systems working liquids (Routine maintenance see the Head).
14. Start the engine and check up it on serviceability of functioning and presence of signs of development of leaks, then muffle and check up levels of working liquids.


6-cylinder models

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.
2. Open a cowl and fix its emphasis.
3. Lift a back seat and unbend a carpet covering of a floor.
4. Dump pressure in the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
5. Uncover a jellied mouth.
6. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
7. Remove assemblage of an air cleaner with an inlet sleeve.
8. Remove protection картера.
9. Remove a radiator (see the Head of System of cooling, heating).
10. Remove V-shaped приводной a belt (Routine maintenance see the Head).
11. Disconnect from compressor K/V a hose of a pressure head line of a refrigerator path.

12. Disconnect the plug of the tyre of grounding of the engine.

13. Separate sockets of a plait of electroconducting of an impellent compartment.

14. Disconnect electroconducting from the generator and compressor K/V.

15. Disconnect cables of a drive throttle заслонки (gas and темпостат).

A — a gas Cable
B — the Cable темпостата

16. Disconnect a vacuum hose of the brake amplifier.

17. Disconnect hoses of a heating path.

18. Disconnect from the engine system of release of the fulfilled gases.

19. Remove the steering pump:

a) Remove tubes with basic arms;
b) Turn out bolts of fastening of a basic arm of the steering pump;
c) Having wrung out forward, liberate from an arm the tank of hydraulic liquid ГУР;
d) without disconnecting from assemblage hydraulic lines, take the pump aside and, having enclosed rags, lay it on a mudguard of the right wing.

A — the Steering pump

20. Give nuts of fastening of the bottom part of transmission to the engine.

21. Turn away a nut of fastening of pillows of forward support of an engine mount to a cross-section beam.

22. Lower the car on the earth and remove a stopper (A) service aperture АТ, Serially having released fixing bolts, separate муфту the hydrotransformer from drive a disk. For the purpose of providing of access to the next bolt turn the engine for a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft by means of key ST 499977100.

23. Remove the terminator раскачиваний the engine.

24. Disconnect giving and return hoses, and also a hose of tap of fuel evaporations.

 Before a detachment of a fuel hose turn the union the end rags for the purpose of prevention разбрызгивания fuel. In advance prepare drain capacity!

25. Hang out the engine on лебедке.
26. Prop up transmission тележечным a jack.
27. Remove a starter and turn out bolts of fastening of the top part of transmission to the engine.
28. On models with АТ block приводной a disk by means of adaptation ST 498277200.
29. Separate the engine from transmission and take its motor compartment.
30. Remove rubber pillows of forward support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Attentively check a condition of all established components, the worn out details replace. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort (pillows of support: 34/74 Nanometers, the terminator раскачиваний the engine: 49 Nanometers and 57 Nanometers, fastening bolts муфты the hydrotransformer to приводному to a disk: 25 Nanometers, bolts of fastening of the steering pump: 20.1 Nanometers, bolts and nuts of fastening of transmission to the engine: 50 Nanometers, the plug of the tyre of grounding of the engine: 14 Nanometers).
2. In summary start the engine and check up it on serviceability of functioning and presence of signs of development of leaks, then muffle and check up levels of working liquids.
