Replacement колодок disk brake mechanisms of back wheels

Remember that brake Pads are subject to replacement only in the complete set and simultaneously on both wheels! Replacement колодок only conducts one of brake mechanisms to infringement of uniformity of seizing effort and loss of course stability of the car during braking. Do not forget that the dust developed in the course of deterioration of a frictional material колодок, can contain unhealthy asbestos! At all do not blow off a brake dust and do not inhale it. At service of brake mechanisms it is necessary to put on a protective mask or a respirator. Do not use for washing off of a brake dust solvents on an oil basis! Wipe components of brake mechanisms only methyl spirit or a special cleaner.

Details of installation of components of a support of the back brake mechanism

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Cock a lay brake and prop up противооткатными boots forward wheels, then поддомкратьте a back of the car and establish it on props. Remove back wheels.
2. Operating from the interior of a support, give a nut, навернутую on the end of a fixing finger колодок. Take a filter колодок (see also an illustration of the Detail of installation of components of a support of the back brake mechanism).
3. Take a fastening finger колодок from support lateral aspect.
4. Then remove антивизговую a spring. Try to remember adjusting position of a spring in a support.
5. Take from a support brake Pads with adjusting overlays, try to remember correct adjusting position of the last.
6. Smooth out Pads a wire brush, a brush remove a dust from surfaces of the brake mechanism (at all do not inhale a brake dust!). 7. Wipe gasoline face surfaces of both pistons, then carefully dry them and grease with several drops of hydraulic liquid LHM. 8. Establish into place old Pads and fix their fixing finger. 9. Resting the suitable lever against a brake disk and, serially, in each of колодок, completely drown pistons in support cylinders. 10. Take a fixing finger and remove old Pads.
11. Establish new Pads (frictional overlays to a disk), having tracked correctness of an arrangement of adjusting overlays.
12. Establish антивизговую a spring, in the correct image having placed it rather колодок and a support.
13. Fill on the place a fastening finger колодок, having tracked, that it has entered in the correct image into gearing with a forward part антивизговой a spring. Screw on a finger a fixing nut, but do not tighten it at the given stage of assemblage.
14. Establish a filter колодок and tighten a nut of a fixing finger. 15. Repeat the described procedure for the brake mechanism of an opposite wheel. 16. Some times squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake for the purpose of reduction колодок in contact to a brake disk. 17. Establish to the place of a wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel bolts with demanded effort. 18. Check up level of a hydraulic liquid (address to the Head Routine maintenance). 19. Remember that full efficiency of braking is reached only after extra earnings new brake колодок. Try throughout the first 100 - 150 km of run to avoid sharp braking.
