Removal and installation of components of a pillow of safety

The general information

Removal

The module of a pillow of safety is built in in the central part of a steering wheel.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make system deactivation (the safety Pillow - the general information see, safety measures and system deactivation). 2. Turn a steering wheel so that to provide access to two screws of fastening of the module of a pillow of safety. Screws are located from the back party of assemblage of a steering wheel.
3. Turn out two fixing screws.
4. Liberate one of edges of the module of a pillow of safety of the central part of a steering wheel, then develop the module the released edge outside, completely without removing it.
5. Cautiously disunite an orange contact socket of electroconducting of system, then definitively take the module from steering wheel assemblage.
6. If the module acts in film from the car for a long time, accept corresponding safety measures on its storage (the safety Pillow - the general information see, safety measures and system deactivation).

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to following moments:
a) Try not to drop and not to shake the established module of a pillow of safety;
b) Having finished module installation, make system activation (the safety Pillow - the general information see, safety measures and system deactivation).

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the module of a pillow of safety (see above). 2. Remove a steering wheel (address to the Head the Body and salon furnish). 3. Remove casings of a steering column (address to the Head the Body and salon furnish).
4. Find on the right under a steering column two tips of electroconducting of a drum-type socket and disunite them. 1 — Shtekernye sockets of electroconducting of a radio tape recorder 2 — Shtekernye sockets of a pillow of safety
5. By means of a small screw-driver release a fixing clamp.
6. Remove rotating drum-type socket from a steering column.
7. Liberate electroconducting from a casing (in case of need remove assemblage подрулевого the switch).

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.
