Ideally lines хонингования should be crossed at an angle 50–60 °.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. At installation of new pistons or piston rings it is necessary отхонинговать walls of cylinders.
2. The greatest distribution has received хонинговальный the tool with подпружиненными брусками. Also it is widely applied хонинговальный the tool in the form of a round wire brush. Besides, for carrying out хонингования a kerosene quantity, rags and electric сверлилка is required. Process хонингования consists in the following:
      – Fix on electric сверлилке хонинговальный the tool and insert it into the cylinder;
      – Grease with a thin layer of kerosene of a wall of the cylinder, include electric сверлилку and move хонинговальный the tool upwards and down to that time while on walls correct crossed drawing is not formed. Ideally lines should be crossed at an angle 60 °. Watch that in process хонингования walls have been moistened by a thin layer of kerosene;
      – Do not take хонинговальный the tool from the block of cylinders at included electric сверлилке. Moreover, make some courses хонинговального the tool at switched off сверлилке and only after that take it from the block of cylinders.
3. Similarly отхонингуйте other cylinders.
4. Carefully wash out the block of cylinders from the rests of the abrasive tool.
5. Dry up the block of cylinders and grease surfaces with a thin butter layer.
6. Grease channels of cylinders and a neck of a cranked shaft with a thin butter layer.
7. Before installation of new piston rings check up a backlash in the ring lock.
8. Arrange pistons and piston rings according to cylinders in which they will work.
9. Establish the top sealing ring in the first cylinder and the piston bottom push it in the cylinder to the cylinder basis.
10. Using probe, measure a backlash in the ring lock.
11. Repeat process of measurement with a ring established in the top part of the cylinder, and compare results of measurement to specifications.
12. If too small, it it is necessary to increase a backlash, сошлифовывая ring end faces.
13. If a backlash in the lock of a piston ring too big, check up correctness of conformity of rings to your engine.
14. Repeat operation of check for each ring in the first cylinder and then for rings in other cylinders.
15. Arrange locks of piston rings on the piston so that the corner between them made 180 °. In маслосъемном a ring displace locks of the top and bottom part маслосъемного rings on 25–50 mm to the right and to the left from the lock of the central part маслосъемного rings.
16. Establish the piston with a rod in the first cylinder, it is thus correct сориентируйте the piston.
17. Grease the piston and piston rings with pure engine oil, then using the special adaptation, compress piston rings on the piston.
18. Using wooden брусок or the hammer handle, press on the piston and press it into the cylinder.
19. Check up combination of the bottom head of a rod with a neck of a cranked shaft. If necessary tighten the piston a rod and establish the bottom head of a rod with the loose leaf on a neck of a cranked shaft.
20. Establish a cover of a rod with the loose leaf (drawing at the left) and fix its bolts, having tightened their demanded moment (drawing on the right).
21. Similarly establish other three pistons with rods.
22. Establish a head of the block of cylinders, the oil pump and the oil pallet.
