Evaporator K/V - a design and a functioning principle

Principle of functioning of the evaporator

1 — From a receiver-dehumidifier
2 — To the compressor
3 — a suspension of particles of a coolant Close to a liquid state

4 — Steam
5 — the Broad valve

Forced by the fan of a heater air is banished through the heat exchanger of the evaporator and promotes heating moving on the tubes, a liquid coolant being under low pressure. Having reached boiling points, the coolant starts to evaporate intensively, passing in a gaseous state. The moisture containing in a coolant is condensed in drops and together with dirt particles is taken away from system on a special drainage hose.

The evaporator heat exchanger shows the complete set of thin aluminium plates of the squared shape located in some layers, with fixed between them ламелями.

Being in close to liquid a condition the suspension of particles of a coolant through the broad valve under low pressure arrives in the bottom tube of the evaporator and starts to be warmed up intensively. In view of high intensity of heat exchange the coolant quickly reaches boiling points and evaporates. Further, at the expense of developed by bubbles of a carrying power generated during boiling, the coolant rises and gets into the tube of assemblage located above. By the time of hit in the top tank of the evaporator the coolant completely passes in a gaseous state.

The evaporator design differs high durability of execution, stability to influence of corrosion and thermal stability.
