1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Establish forward wheels of the car in rectilinear position.
3. Remove a steering wheel (Removal and steering wheel installation see).
4. Remove casings of a steering column (address to the Head the Body and salon furnish).

5. Release clamps/turn out fixing screws and remove the panel of furnish of a forward wall of a driver's foot well.

6. Turn out two fixing screws on the left side of the panel of the bottom cover of a casing of a steering column.

7. Turn out the remained three screws of fastening of the bottom cover of a column / the assembly block of safety locks. Access to screws opens through a casing of the assembly block. Remove the panel (at a corresponding complete set do not forget to disconnect from it electroconducting).
8. Under a steering column disconnect electroconducting from assemblages of the lock of ignition and подрулевого the switch.

9. In the bottom part of a column turn out a coupling bolt карданного the hinge of a steering shaft.

10. Give four fixing nuts (do not forget about washers).
Above — Two bottom nuts
Below — Two top nuts

11. Remove assemblage of a steering column.

1. The steering column has the telescopic design considerably raising травмобезопасность the driver in case of failure. At front blow the steering shaft develops, appreciably reducing rigidity of blow of the driver a breast about a steering wheel. Before column installation into place check up it on presence of signs of deformations and mechanical damages of components, in case of need make corresponding replacements.
2. Estimate size люфта landings of a steering shaft in axial plugs of a column. Check up freedom of rotation of bearings карданного the hinge. In case of revealing of signs of deterioration of plugs or the hinge the column is subject to replacement in gathering.
