Subaru Legacy/Outback

1. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery and изоляционную a door overlay (see Has undressed Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors, including a back door (models Legacy the Versatile person and Outback) and a luggage space cover (models the Sedan)).
2. Remove the internal handle of a door (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of components замковых assemblages).

3. Remove internal sections of stabilizers.

4. Remove a door rear-view mirror (see Has undressed Removal, service and installation of rear-view mirrors).

5. Remove the triangular panel of the basis of a mirror.

6. Having activated the electric drive, result glass in corresponding position and through service apertures in the door panel give two fixing nuts.

7. Lifting upwards, take glass from the door panel.  In order to avoid an exit drive the mechanism from gearing do not lift a regulator in the closed position after glass extraction!

8. Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of hit of glass in the forward and back directing.
9. Having finished installation, adjust position of glass in a door (see further).

1. Temporarily tighten an adjusting bolt on the one hand back directing, having fixed it in an average point of the extended aperture in the door panel.
2. Temporarily tighten the channel In a regulator in position slightly below an average point of the extended aperture.

3. Lower glass on 10 ч 15 mm and, wringing out an upper edge with effort F = 45 ± 5 Н, put in a point located on a vertical, passing in the middle between two external stabilizers, press the internal stabilizer to a surface of glass with effort 10 ± 5 Н and fix it in this position.

4. Release fixing nuts and shift directing glasses in a corresponding direction, achieving correct longitudinal position of glass in a window aperture.

5. For alignment of an inclination of glass in a window aperture concerning a back (rack-mount) edge of a frame release an adjusting nut of the channel In a regulator, then expose glass, correcting position of the channel of Century

6. For adjustment of a clip of an upper edge of glass close a door, lift glass in the position specified in illustrations concerning the top section of a sealant. Fix glass in position when its top emphasis slightly concerns the holder.

7. Visually estimate position has flown down rather молдинга and try to achieve satisfactory result serial rotation of two adjusting bolts back directing, - in order to avoid undesirable displacement directing forward-back, do not release simultaneously two nuts.  In order to avoid infringement of smoothness of adjustment do not incline an arm directing to the internal panel!

8. Operating in a similar manner, adjust the second directing.

Generally both directing should be adjusted equally, however, sometimes there can be a situation when the given rule should be broken. Nevertheless, it is necessary to consider that the conclusion of one directing to a maximum, and to the second in a minimum leads to appreciable overloads of a regulator at activation window lifterа!

9. Having finished adjustment, tighten fixing nuts.
10. Make sure of absence of a backlash between a first line of glass and the triangular panel of a support of a mirror, in case of need release three coupling bolts and adjust position of the panel by means of the bottom (adjusting) bolt.

Backlash presence between a first line of glass and triangular the panel of a support of a mirror is fraught with development of aerodynamic noise at high speeds of movement.

11. Having finished, tighten all fixture.

1. Remove the panel of an internal upholstery and изоляционную a door overlay (see Has undressed Removal and installation of panels of an internal upholstery of doors, including a back door (models Legacy the Versatile person and Outback) and a luggage space cover (models the Sedan)).
2. Remove the internal handle of a door (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of components замковых assemblages).
3. Remove a windowpane (see above).

4. Disunite a contact socket of electroconducting, release four bolts and two nuts of fastening of a regulator to the door panel.

5. Release three screws of fastening of the electromotor and remove regulator assemblage.

6. Make sure of serviceability of rotation of the electromotor in both directions at giving on it pressure from the battery (for change of a direction of rotation change polarity of connection).
7. Installation is made upside-down.
8. In summary adjust position of glass in a window aperture (see above).

Details of installation of glass and components window lifterа are shown a forward door on an illustration.

2. Remove stabilizers.
3. Having activated the electric drive, result glass in corresponding position and through service apertures in the door panel give two fixing nuts.

4. Release two fixing screws and remove the bottom section of a sealant and take glass from the door panel.

5. Installation is made upside-down, - track correctness of hit of glass in the forward and back directing.
6. Having finished installation, adjust position of glass in a door (see further).

Adjustment is made in the manner similar to a forward door described above for glass taking into account geometrical differences and absence of a rear-view mirror.

4. Keeping screws a screw-driver, release nuts of fastening of a lobby directing.

5. Remove a lobby the directing.

6. Disunite a contact socket of electroconducting, release four bolts and two nuts of fastening of a regulator to the door panel.

7. Release three screws of fastening of the electromotor and remove regulator assemblage.
8. Make sure of serviceability of rotation of the electromotor in both directions at giving on it pressure from the battery (for change of a direction of rotation change polarity of connection).
9. Installation is made upside-down.
10. In summary adjust position of glass in a window aperture (see above).
