On models considered in the present Management the system of direct ignition (DIS), working under control of ECM (see the Head of the Power supply system and release) is used. The management module defines parametres of a corner of an advancing of ignition, being based on the basis of the data arriving from various information gauges, continuously tracing working parametres and a current condition of the engine, and develops corresponding commands to the ignition module / to bobbin assemblages. Schemes of an arrangement of components of system of ignition it is presented on illustrations. As an example on an illustration the function chart of system of the direct ignition, used on 4-cylinder models is presented.

For the purpose of ignition of an air-fuel mix in cylinders of the engine the system generates high-voltage (ВВ) pressure and gives out it on screwed in each of cylinders of the engine of a spark plug. Pressure should be high enough to provide "breakdown" of an air backlash between candle electrodes. Besides, "breakdown" should occur during strictly certain moment of time corresponding to current position of the piston in the cylinder and answering to inquiries of the engine in a wide range of operational parametres.

The structure of system of direct ignition includes gauges of position of distributive and cranked shaft (СМР and СКР) and united in the uniform block with the module of ignition the complete set from two coils, individual cylinders for each pair (4-cylinder models) / six individual coils, united with own modules of ignition into uniform assemblages (6-cylinder models). On 4-cylinder models target pressure of coils of ignition moves on candles on ВВ to wires, on 6-cylinder the secondary plug of each of coils fastens directly to a shaft of a spark plug of the corresponding cylinder. Refusal of use ВВ of electroconducting appreciably raises reliability of functioning of system at the expense of elimination of such negative factors, as current leaks, falling of secondary pressure and current leak. ЕСМ develops the basic signals defining an order of connection of the module of ignition to each of coils according to current position of a cranked shaft. As already it was mentioned above, installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition is carried out by the module of management on the basis of the analysis of the signals arriving from various information gauges, a part systems of ignition of injection of fuel. Gauges here enter eats, VSS, TPS, positions АТ, a measuring instrument of the expense of air/gauge MAF, the detonation gauge (KS) - see the Head of the Power supply system and release. The ignition module carries out signal distribution between coils and-or supervises duration of impulses of their operation (on a primary current).

On 4-cylinder models of the coil of ignition (on one on pair cylinders) are united with the ignition module in uniform assemblage

On 6-cylinder models individual for each cylinder, katushechno-modular assemblage is connected directly to a shaft of the spark plug

In system DIS of 4-cylinder models at ignition distribution the single spark is used. At the command of ЕСМ искрообразование occurs in simultaneously two cylinders the piston of one of which is in the end of a step of compression, another - in the end of a final step. Thus the basic power failure is necessary on a candle of the cylinder which is in a step of compression in view of much more of a high pressure in it. Capacity искрообразования in the second cylinder will be minimum (a single spark), providing thus reburning remaining in the chamber of combustion of molecules of an air-fuel mix that allows to achieve more effective decrease in toxicity of the fulfilled gases. Искрообразование occurs at a time in cylinders of 1/2 and 3/4.

At service of systems of direct ignition it is necessary to observe special safety measures:

a) At work with ignition system put on working clothes, including a headdress, goggles and footwear. Some elements any time after an engine stop remain hot, - do not burn!
b) Before to start procedures of removal, dismantling and installation of components of system of ignition, remove from their surface dirt and corrosion traces. Also preserve the removed parts against hit on them a dust and a dirt;
c) Avoid superfluous procedures of removal, installation, dismantling and replacement;
d) Watch observance of efforts of a tightening of carving fixture;
e) If the engine is not started, do not hold the ignition key continuously turned in position ON within more than 10 seconds on end;
f) Watch, that tachometre connection was carried out strictly according to instructions of manufacturers, - some of let out measuring instruments can not approach for use on the given models;
g) At all do not suppose grounding of contact plugs of coils of ignition on weight, - the slightest imprudence in this question can lead to failure of the module of ignition and-or actually coils;
h) do not disconnect the battery at the working engine;
i) Disunite contact sockets of electroconducting of gauges and management modules only preliminary having made sure that the negative wire is disconnected from the storage battery;
j) Watch correctness of grounding of modules of ignition.
