4.2.16.2. Check
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a cranked shaft, using corresponding solvent, and drain its compressed air.
2. Check up radical and шатунные necks of a cranked shaft on deterioration, corrosion and cracks.
3. Deterioration шатунной necks is characterised by metal knocks at engine work, especially under loading on small turns and reduction of pressure of oil.
4. Deterioration of radical necks of a cranked shaft is characterised by strong vibration of the engine and the metal knock increasing at increase of turns of the engine, and also reduction of pressure of oil.
5. Check up necks of a cranked shaft on a roughness. Any appreciable roughness specifies that a cranked shaft it is necessary перешлифовать or to replace.
6. If the cranked shaft was перешлифован, check up agnails round apertures for greasing. In the presence of agnails remove their small file or шабером and carefully clear apertures and channels of a shaving.
7. Using a micrometer, measure diameter radical and шатунных necks of a cranked shaft and compare results to technical requirements. Measurement of necks make in several points both on diameter, and on length of a neck that will allow to reveal ovality and конусность if they are present.
8. Check up surfaces of contact of oil consolidation on each end of a cranked shaft on deterioration and other damages. If deterioration of a neck from consolidation big, that, probably, is required replacement of a cranked shaft.
9. On some engines if necks of a cranked shaft were перешлифованы for the repair size, it is necessary to establish loose leaves of the increased size.
10. Check up, that teeths on a rotor of the gauge of the top dead point of a cranked shaft have not been damaged.
11. Check up a condition and presence of pins in a forward counterbalance of a cranked shaft.
