4.2.16.3. Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clear a back part of the loose leaf and a place of its installation in the block of cylinders and establish the top loose leaves on the places.
Check up that ledges on loose leaves were combined with grooves of a cover or the block of cylinders (it is shown by an arrow).
2. At installation of new loose leaves remove from them protective greasing.
3. Pay attention that the central radical loose leaves have the persistent half rings executed in the form of flanges of the loose leaf.
4. Keep in mind that the loose leaves established in the block of cylinders, have apertures for greasing giving while in covers only the central loose leaf has an aperture for greasing.
5. After installation of radical loose leaves in the block of cylinders and a cover grease working surfaces of loose leaves with pure engine oil.
6. Fill working edges of a back sealing ring of a cranked shaft with greasing and establish it on a cranked shaft.
7. Being careful, establish a cranked shaft in the block of cylinders.
8. Grease the bottom loose leaves in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and check up that ledges on loose leaves are in cover grooves. Establish covers of radical bearings №2, 3 and 4 (drawing at the left) and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment (drawing on the right).
9. Fill flutes in a back part of a back cover of the radical bearing with hermetic. Put on the bottom surface of a back cover of the radical bearing a thin layer of hermetic GM 15 04200/8 983 368. Establish a cover of the back bearing and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment. Press hermetic into a groove of a back cover of a cranked shaft and wipe surplus of hermetic.
10. Establish a cover of the forward radical bearing and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment. Check up that the forward cover is established заподлицо with the block of cylinders of the engine.
11. Check up that the cranked shaft rotates smoothly and without jammings. Check up axial люфт a cranked shaft. Check axial люфта is made by the indicator of the hour type which arm is established on the block of cylinders of the engine, and the measuring tip leans in an end face of a cranked shaft. Moving a cranked shaft from an emphasis against the stop along an axis, measure size axial люфта.
12. In the absence of the indicator of hour type axial люфт a cranked shaft it is possible to measure by an edge probeа, having moved a cranked shaft to one party against the stop and having measured a backlash between the radical bearing №2 and cranked shaft.
13. Establish on the engine all earlier removed details.
