The general information

The drive of camshafts of both heads of cylinders is carried out by one gear belt. The return (smooth) party of the same belt is used for a drive of the water pump.

Teeths drive a belt have specially developed rounded profile promoting decrease of the general noise background. The belt basis is made by the strong and rigid fibres covered with a waterproof fabric and heat-resistant rubber.

The effort of a tension газораспределительного a belt is supported automatically by means of hydraulic натяжителя. Necessity for any manual updatings is absent.

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Details of installation of components of drive ГРМ are shown on сопр. Illustrations.
2. Remove a V-shaped belt (Routine maintenance see the Head).
3. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft (see Has undressed Removal and installation of a pulley of a cranked shaft).
4. Remove the left section of a forward cover of drive ГРМ (see Has undressed Removal and installation of forward covers of drive ГРМ).

5. On models with РКПП remove directing belt ГРМ.

6. If an adjusting label (a) and-or an arrow showing a direction of rotation of a belt were erased, it is necessary to put them independently.

7. By means of the special tool (ST 499987500) turn cranked валдо combination of an adjusting label of a cogwheel of a cranked shaft (a) with reciprocal риской on the block of cylinders (b). Make sure that the adjusting label of a cogwheel of the right camshaft () is combined with a joint line (d) covers of a camshaft and a head of cylinders, or that the adjusting label of a cogwheel of the left camshaft (e) is combined with reciprocal риской on a cover of drive ГРМ (f).

8. A white paint put on a belt necessary marks (opposite to labels on зубатых wheels of shaft). In case of need mark also a direction of rotation of a belt.

9. Remove the bottom intermediate roller.

10. Remove an intermediate cogwheel.

11. Remove газораспределительный a belt.

12. Remove the top intermediate roller.

13. Remove assemblage automatic натяжителя a belt.

INSTALLATION

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. A press, with effort of 30 kg, wring out a rod натяжителя in the case before combination of lock apertures.

 Do not try to wring out a rod automatic натяжителя in a vice – take advantage of a press of vertical type. Watch, that the effort was put strictly in parallel an axis of a rod and did not exceed value 1 т! Wring out a rod slowly and in regular intervals throughout not less than three minutes with effort of an order of 30 kg. Not утапливайте a rod below a face surface of the cylinder. Before to dump pressure in a press, make sure of reliability of fixing of a rod a lock finger.

2. Fix a rod in the wrung out position, having passed in apertures шестигранный прутковый a key or a metal finger in diameter about 2 mm.

3. Establish assemblage of an automatic regulator of a tension of a belt on the regular place, shift it against the stop and tighten fixture with demanded effort (39 Nanometers).

4. Establish the top intermediate roller and tighten a bolt of its fastening with demanded effort (39 Nanometers).

5. By means of special tools (ST 499207100 and ST 499207400) develop cogwheels accordingly the right and left camshafts adjusting labels (A) upwards.

6. Having achieved combination of the labels put on the back party of a belt (B) with adjusting labels (A), accurately put on a belt cogwheels, - track observance of an initial direction of rotation of a belt.


7. Establish an intermediate cogwheel and tighten a bolt of its its fastening with demanded effort (39 Nanometers).
8. Establish the bottom intermediate roller and tighten a bolt of its its fastening with demanded effort (39 Nanometers).

9. Once again make sure of correctness of combination of labels of a belt then take the lock finger keeping a rod натяжителя in wrung out position.

 Having finished belt installation, remove covers of heads of cylinders and make sure of absence of air in regulators клапанных backlashes.

10. On models with РКПП establish directing a belt of drive ГРМ and temporarily tighten bolts of its fastening.
11. With the help probeа лезвийного type check up a backlash between газораспределительным a belt and its directing, compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need make corresponding updating.

12. Definitively tighten bolts with demanded effort (9.8 Nanometers).
13. Establish covers of drive ГРМ (see Has undressed Removal and installation of forward covers of drive ГРМ).
14. Establish a pulley of a cranked shaft (see Has undressed Removal and installation of a pulley of a cranked shaft)
15. Establish V-shaped приводной a belt (Routine maintenance see the Head).

CHECK

Gazoraspredelitelnyj belt

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 Do not suppose hit on a surface газораспределительного a belt of oils, greasing or a cooling liquid, - in case of need carefully remove the slightest traces of pollution. In order to avoid breaks, try not to bend excessively a belt tape, - diameter of a bend (on belt lateral aspect) not a dale of wives to exceed 60 mm!

Check up a gear surface of a belt on presence of ruptures, cracks and signs of deterioration of a tape. Turn a belt and attentively study a condition of its back party. In case of revealing of defects the belt is subject to replacement.


Automatic натяжитель

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up assemblage натяжителя on presence of signs of development of leaks through sealing rings. Estimate a condition and degree of deterioration of a rod натяжителя. Replace defective components.

 Presence on a rod surface натяжителя insignificant traces of greasing is admissible.

2. Make sure that the rod натяжителя does not move by pressing it with effort 30 кГс. If the rod begins заглубляться in the assemblage case, 2-3 times slowly wring out a rod to a cylinder cut, then, at completely put forward rod put to it pressure 30 кГс - if the pusher rod is wrung out without elastic resistance, replace assemblage натяжителя.

3. Measure size выступания a rod over a face surface of assemblage. If the result of measurement falls outside the limits an admissible range (5.7 ч 0.5 mm), replace натяжитель.

4. Check up interfaced surfaces of a belt of drive ГРМ and a contact point of a rod натяжителя on presence of deterioration and cracks. In case of need replace натяжитель.
5. Check up smoothness of rotation of a tension roller. In case of revealing of noise or люфта make replacement.
6. Check up a tension roller on presence of signs of development of leaks of greasing.


Intermediate rollers

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up smoothness of rotation of intermediate rollers. In case of revealing of noise or люфта make replacement.
2. Check up adjoining to lateral aspect of a belt of a surface of rollers on presence of deterioration and cracks. Defective components replace.
3. Check up rollers on presence of signs of leaks of greasing.
