The general information

The design automatic натяжителя a belt of drive ГРМ is shown on an illustration.

Adjusting assemblage from the block натяжителя and a basic arm. The device serves for automatic maintenance of effort of a tension of a belt at certain level for correct transfer by a belt of a twisting moment, decrease in level of noise at work of the engine and increase in service life of elements of drive ГРМ.

The cylinder structure натяжителя includes an adjusting rod, a compensatory ring, плунжер, a returnable spring and a control ball. The assemblage cavity is filled silicone (кремнийорганическим) by oil.

The functioning principle натяжителя is described more low.

Functioning principle

At easing of effort of a tension of a belt the adjusting rod is wrung out by a returnable spring upwards, thus the oil which is in a receiver of the cylinder under pressure, the defined effort developed плунжерной by a spring, pushes out a control ball and flows in the squeezing chamber. As a result pressure is supported to constants.

Under the influence of force F developed by the put forward adjusting rod, the twisting moment is put to an arm натяжителя in a direction counter-clockwise. The tension roller developed together with an arm wrings out a belt with effort Pb generating force of reaction of belt Tb and, - as consequence, - force of reaction Р in a point of the appendix of effort of a rod of a regulator.

Under the influence of force Р the rod натяжителя will be wrung out until there will come total balance of force F and the effort developed by pressure of oil in the chamber of squeezing. As a result, the effort of a tension of a belt is supported to constants.

At excessive increase of effort of a tension of a belt force P becomes more forces F and oil gradually comes back from the squeezing chamber in a receiver until demanded balance will be reached.
