ADJUSTMENT

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 Adjustment клапанных backlashes should be carried out on the cold engine.


1. By means of special tool ST 18252АА000 turn a cranked shaft in a direction clockwise, achieving, that the cam of a drive of the valve subject to check was developed by a working ledge under 90 ° to a face surface of a pusher.
2. With the help probeа лезвийного type measure size клапанного a backlash. Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications. In case of need make necessary adjustments (see further).
3. Remove from a pusher of the corresponding valve an adjusting washer.

4. Prepare the special adaptation for replacement of adjusting washers (ST 18329АА000).

5. Develop pushers samples under 45 °.

6. Having achieved combination of correct combination with sample, establish adaptation ST 18329АА000 on a valve pusher.

 Track, that the adaptation edge did not concern an adjusting washer.

7. Tighten bolts (A) and () adaptations.

8. Having filled tweezers in sample in a pusher, take an adjusting washer.

 Alternatively the washer can be taken by means of a magnet that in an essential measure reduces probability of falling of a washer.

9. By a micrometer measure a thickness of the removed washer.
10. Being based on result of last measurement and received before the data about size клапанного a backlash, make selection of a new washer (see the table resulted more low), - be guided by following formulas:

· For inlet valves: S = (V + T) – 0.20 (mm)
· For final valves: S = (V + T) – 0.25 (mm)
Where: S - a thickness of a used washer, V – measured клапанный a backlash, T – a demanded thickness of a washer.
11. Establish the chosen washer on a pusher.
12. Once again measure backlash size, in case of need repeat adjustment.
13. Operating in a similar manner, adjust backlashes of all valves.

 Turn a cranked shaft only in a direction clockwise!

14. Having finished adjustment, establish the removed components in an order, the return to an order of their dismantle.
