4.4.25. Replacement of pushers, persistent linings and hydraulic pushers


Details of a hydraulic pusher of valves

1 – a ring,

If hydraulic pushers of valves are worn out, it is necessary to replace them.

To lower probability of occurrence of problems in the future, it is recommended to assort and clean hydraulic pushers each time when you remove a head of cylinders.

1. Since a pusher of the valve of the first cylinder, remove a ring from the top part of the cylinder of a pusher.
2. Take from the cylinder the piston and a spring.
3. A small screw-driver remove a cap in the piston basis. Get пружинку (1) and a ball (2) from under a cap.
4. Carefully wash out elements of a pusher kerosene. If pusher springs are worn out or damaged, replace a pusher entirely.
5. Pusher assemblage is made in sequence, return dismantling.
6. Establish a ball (1) in an aperture (2).
7. Establish a cap.
8. Establish a spring on a cap.
9. Insert the piston and a spring into the cylinder.
10. Put on a ring (1) the top part of the piston and an edge of the cylinder (2).


Examine pushers and linings on presence of deterioration and damages and replace them if necessary.

Examine заглушки in a head and the block of cylinders. If necessary replace заглушки.
