Use of tool KM-2068 for camshaft removal
Special tool KM-2068 allows to remove a camshaft, without removing the shaft case.
If you do not have such tool, the camshaft is necessary for removing together with its case.
Removal
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Removal of the case of a camshaft is described in section on removal of a head of the block of cylinders. After you have removed the case, remove a camshaft pulley. |

2. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of a persistent plate of a camshaft. |
|
3. Remove a persistent plate of a shaft. |
|
4. Take a camshaft from the case. |
5. Examine a camshaft and its case. |
|
Installation
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Grease necks of bearings of a camshaft and bearings with pure engine oil. |
2. Establish a new sealing ring of a camshaft. |
|
3. Insert a camshaft into the case, establish a persistent plate and fix its bolts. Measure люфт a camshaft, if necessary replace a persistent plate. |
4. Screw in a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a camshaft. |
5. Establish a camshaft in the position corresponding to the top dead point of the piston of the first cylinder. |
6. Establish the camshaft case. |
7. Start the engine and allow to it to work in a following mode:
– 1 minute – 2000 rpm;
– 1 minute – 1500 rpm;
– 1 minute – 3000 rpm;
– 1 minute – 2000 rpm. |
8. If you have established a new camshaft, replace engine oil through 1000 km of run. |
