4.4.7. Removal and installation of a head of the block of cylinders Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator.
2. Merge cooling liquid.
3. Remove the air conditioner.
4. Disconnect a ventilating hose and uncover heads of the block of cylinders. Disconnect a ventilating hose from the camshaft case.
5. Remove the vacuum pump.
6. Disconnect from a head of the block of cylinders the top hose of a radiator, a hose of a heater and a hose of a cooling liquid.
7. Disconnect a wire from the temperature gauge of the thermostat.
8. Disconnect fuel tubes from fuel atomizers and from the fuel pump. Disconnect a tube of return of fuel.
9. Disconnect a wire from the electric tyre of candles накаливания.
10. Remove приводной a belt of the generator and a belt of the pump of system of the hydraulic amplifier of a steering.
11. Remove casings of a gear belt and the bottom cover of coupling and a flywheel. Establish the piston of the first cylinder in ВМТ and remove газораспределительный a belt from a camshaft pulley. Block a camshaft.
12. Disconnect a reception exhaust pipe from a final collector and from an arm. Remove a pipe.
13. Loosen the all bolts of a head of the block of cylinders on a turn quarter in spiral sequence. In the same sequence ослабьте all bolts on half of turn. Unscrew bolts completely. At installation it is necessary to use new bolts.
14. Remove a thermostat casing.
15. Remove the case of a camshaft and a camshaft.
16. Remove pushers of valves (drawing at the left) and persistent linings (an arrow in drawing on the right).
17. Remove hydraulic pushers. Combine hydraulic pushers in the capacity filled with engine oil.
18. Remove a head of the block of cylinders together with collectors.
19. Carefully clear and examine interfaced surfaces of a head and the block of cylinders.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a new lining of a head of the block of cylinders. The thickness of a lining is defined on height выступания the piston. Depending on a thickness of a lining have special marks – cuts.
2. Inscription OBEN/TOP on a lining surface should be turned upwards.
3. Establish a head on the block of cylinders.
4. Establish hydraulic pushers, persistent linings and pushers.
5. Put hermetic (GM 1503166) on interfaced surfaces of the case of a camshaft and a head of the block of cylinders and establish the case on a head.
6. Insert new bolts of a head of the block of cylinders and tighten them in spiral sequence till the moment of a tightening of the first step.
7. Tighten bolts in the same sequence according to steps 2, 3 and 4 (subsection 4.4.1 see).
8. Establish the remained details. Start and warm up the engine to normal working temperature, switch off it and tighten head bolts on a corner specified in a step 5 (subsection 4.4.1 see).
9. Approximately through 1000 km tighten head bolts on a corner of a step 6 (subsection 4.4.1 see).
