Check of a condition of components of a suspension bracket

 The condition of components of a suspension bracket and steering drive should be made regularly as their deterioration or damage can be at the bottom of reduction of service life of tyres, conduct to decrease in controllability of the car and increase of the expense of fuel. The checks made without a separation of wheels from the earth

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Park the car on an equal horizontal platform, whenever possible with a firm covering, develop forward wheels in rectilinear position. Slightly pull a steering wheel in both directions, - the excessive size taking place люфта specifies in possible deterioration of wheel bearings, collars of hinges of shaft of a steering column, bearings of rotary fists, or tips of steering draughts. 1. Unload from the car all luggage and leave it completely filled and equipped.
2. Check up height of wheel arches (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head), compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications.
3. If the height of an arch of a wheel does not correspond to specifications, check up a condition of components suspension brackets (racks/shock-absorbers) and кузовных elements to which they fasten. Replace defective components.
4. In the absence of the deformed components adjust height of arches by replacement of corresponding screw springs of a suspension bracket.


Check of corners of installation of forward wheels

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up geometry of a forward suspension bracket and make sure of conformity to the accepted norms of corners of installation of wheels (convergence, disorder, a corner of a longitudinal inclination of an axis of turn of a wheel [выбег], angles of rotation of wheels).
2. If the corner of a longitudinal inclination of an axis of turn of a wheel does not correspond to standard value, visually estimate a condition of components of a suspension bracket (assemblage of forward racks, a cross-section beam, cross-section levers and so forth) and кузовных elements to which they fasten. Replace defective components.
3. If convergence and disorder do not correspond to standard values, make corresponding adjustments (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head).
4. If the left and right angles of rotation of wheels do not correspond to standard values, make corresponding adjustments (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head).


Check of corners of installation of back wheels

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up geometry of a forward suspension bracket and make sure of conformity to the accepted norms of corners of installation of wheels (convergence, disorder, a corner of a course deviation).
2. If the disorder corner does not correspond to standard value, visually estimate a condition of components of a suspension bracket (draught [forward, back and top], the back lever, a stretcher, shock-absorbers and so forth) and кузовных elements to which they fasten. Replace defective components.
3. If convergence and a corner of a course deviation do not correspond to standard values, make corresponding adjustments (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head).


The checks made with a separation of wheels from the earth

 In regions where in the winter to snow thawing on roads apply salt, check elements of a suspension bracket about corrosion development each 12 months after the expiration of 60 months from the moment of the operation beginning. If it is necessary, apply measures on prevention of occurrence of corrosion.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

2. Check up protectors of wheels on presence of traces of non-uniform deterioration, estimate pressure of a rating of tyres.

3. Address to materials of the Head the Suspension bracket and a steering. Estimate a condition карданных hinges of a steering column. Check up protective covers of the steering mechanism and power shafts on presence of signs of leaks of greasing. Check up reliability of landing of tips of steering draughts. At negative results of both checks remove a spherical support (the Suspension bracket and a steering see a disk 2 the Head) and measure size of a free wheeling of a spherical finger (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head). Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace spherical support (better in the complete set).

4. Visually estimate a condition dusterа a spherical support. At revealing of mechanical damages, remove the cross-section lever and measure size of a free wheeling of its finger (the Suspension bracket and a steering see the Head). Compare result of measurement to requirements of Specifications, in case of need replace spherical support (better in the complete set).

 After removal or replacement of a spherical support it is necessary to check up size of a convergence of forward wheels, - in case of need make corresponding updating.
