THE GENERAL DATA

Into structure подрулевого the switch enter: both switches of the index of turns/headlights and a screen wiper.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a negative cable (–) the storage battery at the switched off ignition.
ATTENTION

Thereof the information from electronic blocks of memory, as, for example, a radio receiver code is erased. Without a code the radio receiver can be included only the manufacturer or HUNDRED AUDI. Therefore familiarise with materials of subsection Input of a code of a radio receiver.
Read necessarily remarks on security measures at using a safety pillow, thus address to subsection the Steering.

2. Remove the block of a pillow of safety from outside the driver, thus address to subsection Removal and installation of the block of a pillow of safety.
3. Remove a steering wheel, thus address to subsection Removal and steering wheel installation.
4. Disconnect the handle of the mechanism of adjustment of a steering column–1.
5. Turn out 2 screws with crosswise шлицем–4 and the screw with internal шестигранником–2 (a key of 4 mm).
6. Turn out 2 screws of fastening by-3 thin long screw-driver.
7. Remove the top and bottom parts facing подрулевого the switch.
8. Расстыкуйте a socket–1.
9. Turn away the screw with internal шестигранником–2 (5 mm) so that подрулевой the switch could move slightly.
10. Cautiously disconnect electric connections from подрулевого the switch.
ATTENTION

At removal подрулевого the switch the spring remains on the switch. Watch that the spring was not braided and remained in the average position.

11. Remove подрулевой the switch from a column and put aside.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put on подрулевой the switch–2 a steering column, without fixing it.
2. Put on a steering wheel.
3. Fix at first подрулевой the switch–2 screw with internal шестигранником–3 on a steering column so that the distance to a steering wheel made and = 3 mm.
4. Again remove a steering wheel and execute the further installation in sequence, return to removal.
5. Establish a steering wheel, address to subsection Removal and steering wheel installation.
6. Establish a safety pillow, address to subsection Removal and installation of the block of a pillow of safety.
7. Attach a weight cable (–) the storage battery. Attention: Make active high-rise automatics electric window lifterа, and also establish hours and enter a radio tape recorder code, address to subsection Input of a code of a radio receiver.
