1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Remove an air cleaner with an air inlet sleeve (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).

1. Disconnect electroconducting from gauges-switches of fires of a backing and neutral position РКПП.
2. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.

3. Remove gauges-switches of fires of a backing and neutral position РКПП together with electroconducting.

1. Disconnect electroconducting from gauge-switch "Hi/Lo".

2. Liberate burn down electroconductings from a clamp and remove the gauge-switch. A the Clamp B Gauge-switch "Hi/Lo"

Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of dismantle of components. A tightening of gauges make with demanded effort (Specifications and accompanying illustrations to subsection "Removal" see).

Measure resistance between plugs №№ 1 and 2 contact sockets of the gauge-switch. At translated in position of a reverse gear the lever of switching РКПП the result of measurement should make less than 1 Ohm, in all other positions of the lever - more than 1 МОм. The faulty gauge-switch is subject to replacement.

1. Switch off ignition.
2. Disconnect from the gauge-switch of neutral position РКПП electroconducting.
3. Measure resistance between plugs of a 2-contact socket of the gauge-switch. At the lever of switching РКПП translated in neutral position the result of measurement should make less than 1 Ohm, in all other positions of the lever - more than 1 МОм. The faulty gauge-switch is subject to replacement.

1. Switch off ignition.
2. Disconnect from the gauge-switch of switching of modes «Hi/Lo» electroconducting.
3. Measure resistance between plugs of a 2-contact socket of the gauge-switch. In a mode «Lo» an additional reducer the result of measurement should make less than 1 Ohm, in a mode «Hi» - more than 1 МОм. The faulty gauge-switch is subject to replacement.
