Problem diagnostics ABS

The scheme of connection of control lamp ABS


 The description of diagnostic checks are resulted for a case of performance of diagnostics without application SSM.


The special control lamp located on an instrument guard of the car notifies on refusals ABS of the driver. As soon as the module of management ABS elicits the infringement fact in system, it makes its switching-off. The brake system continues to function thus in a usual mode.

Diagnostics of condition ABS is made each time at start of the engine and accompanied by short-term operation of a control lamp. During short time after start the llama should be disconnected automatically.

If control lamp ABS lights up and continues to burn during movement, first of all make sure that the lay brake is completely released, and the brake system functions regularly. If all in norm, hence, was refusal ABS. First of all make following elementary checks:

a) Check up a condition of brake supports and wheel cylinders;
b) Check up a condition and reliability of fastening of contact sockets of electroconducting of the module of management ABS and wheel gauges (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head);
c) Check up corresponding safety locks (the Onboard electric equipment see the Head).

Refusals of control lamp ABS

Cause of failures of functioning of control lamp ABS breakage or short circuit in a chain of its electroconducting can be.

Control lamp ABS is not activated at ignition inclusion

 At ссоединении a socket the gauge-switch automatically closes among themselves plugs №№ 22 and 23 that should lead to activation of control lamp ABS.


Try to include ignition, without making engine start, - if other, a part combinations of devices, control lamps work regularly, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise it is necessary to make the necessary regenerative device of an instrument guard.

Switch off ignition. Remove a combination of devices, take control lamp ABS and check up its condition. If the lamp has fused, make its replacement, otherwise pass to a following stage of check.

Disunite contact pair В62/F45 and measure pressure between weight of the chassis (-) and the plug № G6 (+) socket В62. If the result of measurement makes less than 3 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise, check up a condition of electroconducting of a corresponding control lamp. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Include ignition and repeat check. If the result of measurement makes less than 3 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise, check up a condition of electroconducting of a corresponding control lamp. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Switch off ignition, plant a checked control lamp on the regular place and establish a combination of devices.

Include ignition and repeat pressure gauging. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Switch off ignition and make pressure check between plug G6 (+) socket F45 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 3 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of corresponding electroconducting. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Include ignition and repeat check. If the result of measurement makes less than 3 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise, check up a condition of electroconducting of a corresponding control lamp. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Measure resistance between the plug № 23 sockets F49 and weight. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up serviceability of grounding of assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Measure resistance between weight and plug G6 socket F45. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of a socket and a plait of its electroconducting. Make necessary regenerative repair, in case of need replace a socket.

Switch off ignition and check up serviceability of a condition of contact sockets on a chain site between a combination of devices and the module of management ABS, - if signs of infringement of reliability of contacts are absent, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS.

Control lamp ABS is not disconnected after realisation of start of the engine

 At ссоединении a socket the gauge-switch automatically closes among themselves plugs №№ 22 and 23 that should lead to activation of control lamp ABS.


Switch off ignition and make sure of completeness of landing and reliability of fixing of a contact socket of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS.

Measure resistance between weight of the chassis and everyone (And and) from diagnostic plugs (В81). If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of a plait of corresponding electroconducting, make necessary regenerative repair.

Switch off ignition and connect the diagnostic plug to the plug № 8 diagnostic sockets В82. Disunite a contact socket of the module of management ABS and measure resistance between the plug № 4 sockets F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition on a chain site between the module of management ABS and a diagnostic socket, make necessary regenerative repair.

Start the engine on single turns and check up pressure between the plug In (+) on the back party of the generator (the food plug) and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace/repair the generator (the engine Electric equipment see the Head) and repeat check.

Switch off ignition and check up a condition of polar plugs of the battery and reliability of fastening on them клеммных tips of wires. In case of need make necessary corrections.

Disunite a contact socket of electroconducting of the module of management ABS, then start the engine on single turns and measure pressure between the plug № 1 (+) socket F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of electroconducting of a chain of giving of a food. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Disunite contact pair В62/F45 and include ignition, - if control lamp ABS does not work, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of a forward plait of electroconducting.

Switch off ignition and check up a condition of ledges of plugs of a socket of the module of management. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the management/hydromodulator module (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of serviceability of functioning of assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS).

Measure resistance between plugs №№ 22 and 23 sockets of the module of management ABS. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of serviceability of functioning of assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS).

Measure resistance between plug G6 of socket F45 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting.

Connect electroconducting to the module of management ABS and measure resistance between plug G6 of socket F45 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting.

Check up a condition and reliability of fixing of a contact socket of the module of management ABS. In case of need make necessary corrections, or replace the block of the module of management/hydromodulator.

It is not possible to make reading of codes of malfunctions

If the control lamp joins and disconnected regularly, however does not highlight an initial code (DTC 11, - see more low) at transition in a diagnostic mode, switch off ignition and execute checks.

Refusals of wheel gauges


Refusals of wheel gauges lead to infringement of serviceability of functioning ABS. The scheme of connection of wheel gauges is presented on an illustration.


Breakage in chains of the wheel gauge, or excessively high level of entrance pressure (DTC №№ 21, 23, 25 and 27)

Switch off ignition. Disconnect electroconducting from the corresponding wheel gauge. Measure resistance between plugs №№ 1 and 2 contact sockets of the gauge. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 1 ÷ 1.5 clod, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS and measure pressure between the plug № 1 corresponding wheel gauge and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Include ignition and repeat the previous check. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Switch off ignition and connect to the gauge electroconducting. Measure resistance between plugs №№ 11 and 12 (DTC 21)/9 and 10 (DTC 23)/14 and 15 (DTC 25)/7 and 8 (DTC 27) socket F49. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 1 ÷ 1.5 clod, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition on a site between the module of management and the gauge. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Measure pressure between weight and the plug № 11 (DTC 21)/9 (DTC 23)/14 (DTC 25)/7 (DTC 27) socket F49. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 In, eliminate the short circuit reason on a chain site between the gauge and the module of management ABS. In the absence of pressure (less than 1) include ignition and repeat check. If pressure on the former is absent (makes less than 1), pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition between the gauge and the module of management ABS, in case of need eliminate the short circuit reason.

Switch off ignition and check up reliability of a tightening of bolts of fastening of the gauge (32 Nanometers). In case of need tighten fixture and pass to a following stage of check.

Measure backlash size between the gauge and a rotor on all perimetre of the last. At an insufficient backlash (Specifications see) make its updating by selection of an adjusting lining (26755АА000). If the backlash is too great, remove remote linings and replace a rotor (in gathering with шарнирной assemblage) or the failed gauge. Having finished adjustment, pass to a following stage of check.

Check up size of palpation of a nave of a wheel. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.05 mm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace a nave.

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug № 1 contact socket of the wheel gauge and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Switch off ignition and connect to the wheel gauge electroconducting. Measure resistance between weight of the chassis and the plug № 11 (DLC 21)/9 (DLC 23)/14 (DLC 25)/7 (DLC 27) socket F49. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, in opposite check up an electroconducting condition on a chain site between the gauge and the module of management ABS. Make necessary regenerative repair. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator.

Check up reliability of fastening of contact sockets of the module of management ABS and the wheel gauge. Make necessary corrections. If contacts are perfectly in order, pass to a following stage of check.

Restore initial connection of all contact sockets, clear memory of the processor (see more low) and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to performance of corresponding check. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

Short circuit in a chain of the wheel gauge (DTC №№ 22, 24, 26 and 28)

Switch off ignition and check up reliability of a tightening of bolts of fastening of the gauge (32 Nanometers). In case of need tighten fixture and pass to a following stage of check.

Measure backlash size between the gauge and a rotor on all perimetre of the last. At an insufficient backlash (Specifications see) make its updating by selection of an adjusting lining (26755АА000). If the backlash is too great, remove remote linings and replace a rotor (in gathering with шарнирной assemblage) or the failed gauge. Having finished adjustment, pass to a following stage of check.

In the absence of possibility to take advantage of an oscillograph pass to check of a mechanical condition of a rotor and clearing of components.

In the presence of an oscillograph поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props, - wheels should come off the earth completely. Switch off ignition and connect an oscillograph between plugs №№ С5 (+) and В5 (-) (DTC 22)/S6 (+) and В6 (-) (DTC 24) socket В62 or 1 (+) and 2 (-) (DTC 26)/4 (+) and 5 (-) (DTC 28) socket F55.

 Performance of the given procedure can lead to record in memory of the processor of a code of malfunction 29.


Include ignition and, rotating a corresponding wheel of the car, watch oscillograph indications. The amplitude of a displayed sinusoidal signal should not fall outside the limits a range 0.12 ÷ 1.00 In, - if the given condition is not carried out, or the signal has the wrong form, pass to a following stage of check.

Attentively examine the wheel gauge and its rotor on presence of signs of damages and pollution. Wipe components, will rectify taking place faults.

Check up size of palpation of a nave of a wheel. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.05 mm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace a nave.

Switch off ignition. Disconnect electroconducting from the corresponding wheel gauge. Measure resistance between plugs №№ 1 and 2 contact sockets of the gauge. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 1 ÷ 1.5 clod, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Measure resistance between weight and the plug № 1 contact socket of the wheel gauge. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Connect electroconducting to the wheel gauge and disconnect it from the module of management ABS. Measure resistance between plugs №№ 11 and 12 (DTC 22)/9 and 10 (DTC 24)/14 and 15 (DTC 26)/7 and 8 (DTC 28) socket F49 of the module of management ABS. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 1 ÷ 1.5 clod, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting on a chain site between the gauge and the module management/hydromodulator ABS.

Measure resistance between weight of the chassis and the plug № 11 (DTC 22)/9 (DTC 24)/14 (DTC 26)/7 (DTC 28) socket F49 of the module of management. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up electroconducting between the gauge and the module on short circuit presence. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Measure resistance between weight and the plug № 23 sockets F49. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise eliminate a cause of infringement of quality of grounding.

Check up reliability of fastening of contact sockets of the module of management ABS and the wheel gauge. Make necessary corrections. If contacts are perfectly in order, pass to a following stage of check.

Make sure that automobile phone/transmitter of remote control are established on sufficient removal from a plait of electroconducting of the wheel gauge.

Restore initial connection of all contact sockets and measure resistance between weight and the plug № А5 (DTC 22)/A6 (DTC 24) socket В62. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace экранированный a plait.

Restore initial connection of all contact sockets and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to corresponding test. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

The problems connected with serviceability of delivery by the wheel gauge (one or all four) an information signal (DTC 29) take place

 Free rotation of wheels within more than 1 minute, and also long movement with the steering wheel turned out against the stop records in memory of the processor of a code of malfunction 29 can lead, - simply clear memory of the processor (see more low)!


Estimate a condition of protectors and pressure of a rating of tyres. In case of need make corresponding corrections/replacements.

Check up reliability of a tightening of bolts of fastening of gauges ABS (32 Nanometers). In case of need tighten fixture and pass to a following stage of check.

Measure backlash size between the gauge and a rotor on all perimetre of the last. At an insufficient backlash (Specifications see) make its updating by selection of an adjusting lining (26755АА000).  Refusals of the module of management/hydromodulator lead to infringement of serviceability of functioning ABS.


Infringement of serviceability of functioning inlet (DTC 31, 33, 35 and 37) / final (DTC 32, 34, 36 and 38) the electromagnetic valve

Disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS.

Start the engine on single turns and measure pressure between the plug № 1 (+) socket F49 of the block of management and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition between the battery, the switch of ignition and the module of management ABS. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between weight of the chassis and the plug № 23 sockets F49. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise eliminate a cause of infringement of quality of grounding.

Check up serviceability of a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of electroconducting on the module of management ABS, the generator and the storage battery. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair. If infringements of quality of contacts are absent, pass to a following stage of check.

Switch off ignition. Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Clear memory of the processor and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to corresponding test. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

Infringement of serviceability of functioning of the module of management ABS (DTC 41)

Switch off ignition. Disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS and measure resistance between the plug № 23 sockets F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise eliminate a cause of infringement of quality of grounding.

Check up serviceability of a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of electroconducting on the module of management ABS, the generator and the storage battery. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair. If infringements of quality of contacts are absent, pass to a following stage of check.

Make sure that automobile phone/transmitter of remote control are established on sufficient removal from plaits of electroconducting ABS.

Switch off ignition. Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Clear memory of the processor and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to corresponding test. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

Deviation from face value of level of pressure of a food (DTC 42)

Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature. Check up correctness of installation of turns of idling. Measure pressure between the plug In (+) on the back party of the generator and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 17 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of system of a charge (the engine Electric equipment see the Head), make necessary corrections.

Switch off ignition and check up a condition of polar plugs of the battery and reliability of fixing on them клеммных tips of wires. In case of need smooth out contact surfaces of plugs/tips. If plugs are perfectly in order, disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS, start the engine on single turns and measure pressure between weight and the plug № 1 (+) socket F49. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 17 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition between the switch of ignition and a contact socket of the module of management ABS. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug № 23 sockets F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 0.5 Ohm, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise eliminate a cause of infringement of quality of grounding.

Check up serviceability of a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of electroconducting on the module of management ABS, the generator and the storage battery. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair. If infringements of quality of contacts are absent, pass to a following stage of check.

Switch off ignition. Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Clear memory of the processor and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to corresponding test. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

Infringement of serviceability of functioning of control system АТ (DTC 44)

Check up marks of assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS, - the code is put on a block surface between unions of connection of hydraulic lines and for models (Specifications see). If marks answer a complete set of your car, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS.

Switch off ignition and disunite two sockets of electroconducting of the module of management of transmission (TCM). Also disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS. Measure resistance between the plug № 3 sockets F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make regenerative repair of electroconducting on a site between TCM and the module of management ABS.

Measure pressure between weight and plugs №№ 3 and 31 sockets F49. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition on a site between the module of management ABS and TCM. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Check up a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of modules of management ABS and АТ. In case of need smooth out plugs and pass to a following stage of check.

Switch off ignition. Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Clear memory of the processor and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to corresponding test. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

Start the engine on single turns and measure pressure between plugs №№ 1 and 24 sockets F49 of the module of management ABS and weight of the chassis. Measure resistance between plugs №№ 23 (+) and 24 (-) a socket of the module of management. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the management block.

Check up serviceability of a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of electroconducting on the module of management ABS, the generator and the storage battery. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair. If infringement of quality of contacts is absent, pass to a following stage of check.

Start the engine on single turns and measure pressure between the plug № 1 socket F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition on sites between the battery, the switch of ignition and the module of management ABS. Refusal of the gauge-switch of stoplights leads to infringement of serviceability of functioning ABS.

Check up serviceability of operation of stoplights at squeezing a pedal of a foot brake. If everything is all right, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up a condition of lamps and electroconducting of a chain of stoplights.

Switch off ignition. Disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS. Squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake and measure pressure between the plug № 2 sockets F49 of the module of management ABS and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 10 ÷ 15 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition on a site between the gauge-switch of stoplights and the module of management ABS. Make necessary regenerative repair.

Check up a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of the gauge-switch and the management block. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If contacts are perfectly in order, pass to a following stage of check.

Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Clear memory of the processor and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. If any changes (towards improvement) has not occurred, replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS. At occurrence of new codes pass to corresponding test. If refusal has not repeated, hence, malfunction carried a temporality, - once again make sure of reliability of fastening of all contact connections.

Infringement of serviceability of delivery of a target signal of the G-gauge (DTC 56)

 G-gauge refusal leads to infringement of serviceability of functioning ABS.

Car towage, and also поддомкрачивание it with a full separation of wheels from the earth can lead to entering in memory of the processor of code DTC 56.


Check up marks of assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS, - the code is put on a block surface between unions of connection of hydraulic lines and for models (Specifications see). If marks answer a complete set of your car, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS.

Switch off ignition. Remove the central console (the Body see the Head). Отболтите the G-gauge, without disconnecting from it electroconducting. Again turn the ignition key in position ON and measure pressure between plugs №№ 1 (+) and 3 (-) from lateral aspect of contact socket R70 of the gauge. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 4.75 ÷ 5.25 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise check up an electroconducting condition on a site between the gauge and the module of management ABS. Make necessary regenerative repair.


Switch off ignition. Disconnect electroconducting from the module of management ABS and measure resistance between plugs №№ 6 and 28 sockets F49 of the module of management. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 4.3 ÷ 4.9 clod, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting on a site between the gauge and the module упарлвения ABS.

Disconnect electroconducting from the G-gauge. Measure resistance between the plug № 6 sockets F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting on a site between the gauge and the module of management ABS.

Measure pressure between the plug № 6 sockets F49 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting on a site between the gauge and the module of management ABS.

Repeat last check at the included ignition. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting on a site between the gauge and module ABS.

Measure resistance between weight and the plug № 28 sockets F49. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise make necessary regenerative repair of electroconducting on a site between the gauge and the module of management ABS. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, replace assemblage of the module of management / the hydraulic modulator.

Switch off ignition and, without disconnecting electroconducting, отболтите the G-gauge. Check up reliability of fixing of contact sockets of the gauge and the module of management ABS. Include ignition and measure pressure between plugs № 2 (+) and № 3 (-) socket R70 of the gauge. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 2.1 ÷ 2.4 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Incline the gauge at an angle 90 ° forward and repeat the check described above. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 3.7 ÷ 4.1 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Incline the gauge at an angle 90 ° back and still repeat check. If the result of measurement does not fall outside the limits a range 0.5 ÷ 0.9 In, pass to a following stage of check, otherwise replace the gauge.

Switch off ignition. Check up a condition and reliability of fixing of contact sockets of the G-gauge and module ABS. In case of need make corresponding regenerative repair. If contact connections are perfectly in order, pass to a following stage of check.

Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Clear memory of the processor and repeat procedure of reading of diagnostic codes. Prepare input reader SSM for work.

Reading of codes DTC without application SSM

Take the diagnostic socket close to the block of a heater of a driver's seat.

Switch off ignition and connect the diagnostic plug to the plug № 8 sockets.

Include ignition, control lamp ABS will pass in a diagnostic mode and will start to deduce in a flashing mode brought in memory of the processor codes of malfunctions (DTC).

The first always deduces a code of the beginning of check (11), then all other codes, since the last are serially deduced. After a conclusion of last code the cycle repeats within 3 minutes. Examples of a conclusion of codes are resulted on an illustration. In the absence of the codes written down in memory the control lamp will deduce only starting code (11).

With the module of management ABS revealing of problems the corresponding information (to three codes) is brought in ROM ЕЕР. At presence more than three refusals last remain only three. Codes continue to be stored in memory of the processor before its clearing (see more low).




Removal of codes from memory of the processor

With use SSM

In the main menu («Main Menu») input reader SSM choose point {2. Each System Check} also press key YES.

In the field «System Select Menu» choose point {Brake System}, press YES, wait a conclusion to the screen of data on type ABS, then once again press key YES.

In the field «Brake Control Diagnosis» the screen choose point {Clear Memory} and confirm a choice with pressing key YES.

After on the input reader screen messages «Done» will be deduced (is executed) and «Тurn ignition OFF» (Switch off ignition), disconnect food SSM and switch off ignition.

Without application SSM

After reading of codes DTC deduced by control lamp ABS disconnect the diagnostic plug from the plug № 8 diagnostic sockets.

Within approximately 12 seconds repeat procedure of connection/switching-off of the plug with duration of each phase (Vkl and Vykl) not less than 0.2 with three times.

Successful end of clearing of memory proves to be true выcandlesиванием a control lamp of a code 11.
