Hydromodulator ABS

Check is carried out as it should be similar described in Section Check of sequence of operation of valves of hydromodulator ABS, - the diagnostic card is resulted on an illustration.

 At use SSM functioning begins with a point And.
HIGH = High level of pressure; LOW = Low level of pressure; ON = Vkl; OFF = Vykl

 


Hydromodulator VDC

Check without application SSM

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect diagnostic plugs to plugs №№ 5 and 8 heaters of a driver's seat of a diagnostic socket close by the block.
2. Include transfer and achieve rotation of wheels of the car with the frequency corresponding to speed of movement below 2.75 km/h, then switch off ignition.
3. Start the engine, make sure of serviceability of operation of control lamps ABS and VDC and within 0.5 seconds after their switching-off, squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake at first unitary, then still twice within even 3 seconds, - in the end the pedal should be released.

 Pedal of coupling do not squeeze out!

4. After check end switch off ignition.

 

Check with application SSM

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

 If performance of check with application SSM is not obviously possible owing to any infringement.


 At the diagnostic plugs connected to a diagnostic socket (see an illustration 28.1) check performance is not obviously possible!

1. Connect SSM to located at the left under the panel of devices to socket DLC of the car.
2. Include ignition, then include food SSM.
3. Translate SSM in a mode of check of brake system {BRAKE CONTROL}.
4. Activation of check of sequence of operation ABS occurs at a choice of subsection of the menu {Function check sequence}.
5. At occurrence on the screen of the display of the message «Firmly squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake» (Press Brake Pedal Firmly), it is necessary to squeeze out a pedal with effort 100 кГс (at check performance at the stand)/35 кГс (at check with application of measuring instruments (see Has undressed Removal, installation and check of serviceability of functioning of assemblage of the module of management/hydromodulator ABS).

 Pedal of coupling do not squeeze out! Message occurrence «Press YES» means that it is necessary to press button YES. The check course will be reflected in the monitor screen.

Exit from a check mode

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

The exit from a mode of check in a mode of normal functioning occurs to transition VDC in following cases:

g) At increase in frequency of rotation of any of wheels to the size corresponding to speed of movement more 10 km/h;
h) At a detachment of diagnostic plugs from plugs №№ 5 and 8 diagnostic sockets (without application SSM);
i) At release pedals foot brake/disconnection of the gauge-switch of stoplights;
j) At lateness of squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake after inclusion of ignition and switching-off of control lamps ABS and VDC (without application SSM);
k) At delay of squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake more than for 0.5 seconds after switching-off of control lamp ABS (without application SSM);
l) On termination of a verifying cycle.
